| How people are chosen for the
Maryland directory of Alternative Dispute Resolution
Practitioners In short, practitioners select themselves for the Directory. However, we ask them to meet certain minimum experience and training standards. This is the form the practitioners must complete. This Directory is open to any professional who assists others to resolve disputes. Each professional enters his/her own profile. Before we make a profile available to the public through this Directory, the information is reviewed by the Director of the Center for Dispute Resolution at the University of Maryland School of Law. Please read before using this Directory This Directory is an on-line "yellow pages" for alternative dispute resolution practitioners who work in Maryland. We are not a membership or certification organization. If you are looking for someone who is a member of a professional organization or who is certified, review this information on professional organizations and look for that information under "references and affiliations" in the directory profile. The information in this Directory is self-reported. We screen the profiles for consistency and obvious errors. However, we do not investigate the credentials, qualifications or experience of those who apply to be listed. None of the sponsors of this Directory make any representation as to the skill or qualifications of anyone listed in the Directory. Being listed in this Directory does not mean these organizations endorse any of the professionals listed. C-DRUM, MLAN, and MACRO disclaim any and all liability for any misrepresentations that may be contained in the information provided by the practitioners who are listed. Before engaging anyone listed in this Directory you are strongly urged to speak directly with them to confirm their training, fees, and mediation approach.
