The Inmate Grievance Office (IGO)
To be eligible for help, you must be a state prisoner in the custody of the Division of Correction or Patuxent Institution. The IGO will handle any prisoner complaint against employees or officials of the Division of Corrections or Patuxent Institution, including classification appeals, disciplinary appeals, property loss, etc. A grievance or complaint that merits further consideration will be referred to the Office of Administrative Hearings. The IGO will decide whether or not to schedule a complaint for a hearing. All grievances must be filed in writing and sent to: 115 Sudbrook Lane, Suite 200 |
