Criminal Records Expungement

The following materials were provided by Maryland Volunteer Lawyers Service and the Community Legal Services of Prince George's County, Inc. as tools for attorneys.  The materials were created as part of a training on the process of expunging a criminal record.  We are offering them as a public service.

Criminal Records Expungement: A Guide (MS Word) - A manual from the Maryland Volunteer Lawyers Service drafted and updated by private attorneys from Venable LLP. (Last updated in 2001)

Criminal Records Expungement (MS PowerPoint) - A PowerPoint presentation containing materials from the above Word document as well as additional information. (Last updated in 2005)

Petition for Waiver of Costs - A link to the Circuit Court form which is referenced in both the PowerPoint and Word documents above. (Last updated in May 2003)
