If You are an
Employer
As an employer, there are some steps
you can take to help an employee who may be being abused. Here are some websites
that provide advice on how to help your employee and keep your work place
safe.
Domestic Violence and
the Workplace -- Tips from the Federal Government This website is run by
the U.S. Office of Personnel Management and is aimed at supporting federal
employees affected by domestic violence, although most of the information can be
applied to supporting non-federal employees, as well. This website contains
information for abused persons, co-workers, and work managers about what
resources and options are available to help protect abused persons in the
workplace and in their personal lives.
Guideline for Employers This
website contains in-depth information for managers, human resources personnel,
security personnel, and others about how to make the workplace safer when an
employee is involved in a domestic violence situation.
