Information about all these alternatives is available at your local Senior Information and Assistance office.

For a quick reference on housing alternatives, see the Maryland Department of Aging’s web page on housing.  There is a link on that page to "Assisted Living In Maryland - What You Need To Know," a book in Adobe Acrobat PDF format.  You can read the book online or download it to read offline  if you have the free Acrobat Reader installed on your computer.  Printed copies may be available from the Department of Aging (1-800-AGE-DIAL, weekdays between 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m.).
