Maryland Children’s Health Program (MCHP)

Many figures used to calculate Maryland Children’s Health Program (MCHP) benefits are revised annually by Maryland Department of Health and Mental Hygiene (DHMH), the state agency that administers the program. These figures are usually updated in response to changes in the Federal Poverty Levels and can be found in the Code of Maryland Regulations (COMAR) 10.09.11, 10.09.43 or on the DHMH website. The figures noted above were effective in April 2007. Note that this program allows you to deduct certain amounts from your household income when determining your financial eligibility for benefits.
