Veterans' Pension Benefits

Many figures used to calculate Veteran’s Pension benefits are revised annually by the Veterans Benefits Administration (VBA), the federal agency that administers the program. These figures are usually updated in October and can be found in the November issue of the Federal Register, the official government publication for administrative changes. The figure can also be found on the VBA website or by calling 1-800-827-1000 or TDD 1-800-829-4833 between the hours of 8:30 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. local time. The figures noted above were effective on December 1, 2006 for checks received on January 1, 2007. Benefit amounts are also available on this website.
