Women, Infants and Children (WIC) in Maryland
| Many figures used to calculate Women, Infants
and Children (WIC) benefits are revised annually by the Department of Agriculture, the federal agency that administers the program. In addition, the Maryland Community and Public Health Administration (MCPHA), the state agency that implements the Maryland WIC program also publishes updated figures. These figures are usually updated in January of each year and can be found in the March issue of the
Federal Register, the official government source for administrative changes, or on the
MCPHA website.
Maryland specific figures are found in the Code of Maryland
Regulations (COMAR) 10.54.01. |
