Type of Service Provides free civil legal advice and representation to persons who are homeless or at risk of homelessness. HPRP utilizes pro bono attorneys who provide legal services through outreach at shelters and soup kitchens; there are three attorneys on staff who advise and represent individual clients primarily in Baltimore City. Cases handled include a variety of civil matters, but the majority fall into housing, credit/debt, public benefits and family law matters. HPRP does not handle criminal or fee-generating cases.
