The Insurance article of the Maryland Code lists a number of benefits requirements for Health Insurance policies in Subtitle 8 of Title 15 – Health Insurance. Health Insurance in Maryland is regulated by the Maryland Insurance Administration. Regulations for health insurance are in COMAR Title 31, Subtitle 10. Consumers can appeal a denial of coverage for medical treatment online, or by filing a complaint with the Maryland Insurance Administration.
