Services

Answers consumers questions. Reprimands businesses that are the subject
of consumer complaints. Provides free reliability reports on businesses
in the Bureau; files formal mediation and arbitration programs for
consumers and businesses; and conducts consumer education on fraud and
bad business practices. Refers difficult cases to the Consumer
Protection Division of the Maryland Attorney General's Office. Handles
cases of arbitration or mediation of consumer complaints against
participating businesses.
