If you’re facing domestic abuse or a complicated legal situation impacting your family, you don’t have to do it alone. The attorneys at Volunteer Legal Advocates are ready to help— confidentially and free of charge. We offer legal support and advocacy services for survivors and caregivers of at-risk children in Washington, DC, and Montgomery County, MD as well as:

• Addressing Legal Needs: We can help with custody, child support, divorce, immigration, and staying safe from abuse.
• Client Advocacy: We connect clients with information on housing, employment, safety planning, and other resources.
• Free Legal Clinics: Attend a weekly legal clinic in DC or MD to speak with a lawyer about your needs.
