Veterans Disability Compensation

영어 (English)
Outline of disability compensation for veterans.

The amount of veterans disability compensation that a veteran is entitled to is based on the veteran’s percent disability and number of dependents.  For a veteran with no dependents, it ranges from $133/month for a 10% disability to $2,906/month for a 100% disability (as of February 2, 2016).  For 30% disability and higher, the amount increases if you have dependents.

To view a full list of list of rates, see the VA Compensation Rate Table [1].

Many figures used to calculate Veterans Disability Compensation benefits are revised annually by the Veterans Benefits Administration (VBA), the federal agency that administers the program. These figures are usually updated in October and can be found in the November issue of the Federal Register, the official government publication for administrative changes. The figures can also be found on the Department of Veterans Affairs website [2] or by calling 1-800-827-1000 or TDD 1-800-829-4833.
